Web 2.0 and Social Media Change Chiropractic Internet Marketing

Saturday, October 11th, 2008

It seems that chiropractors are still listening to the old tactics of consultants that have no knowledge of the market today, and that means that many small chiropractic businesses are going down the toilet. How do these businesses just sit by and watch the ship as it sinks? The economy is the weakest it’s been in a long time, and people simply aren’t paying attention to the same old advertising tricks. If chiropractors don’t upgrade their game-plan, they’re going to be losing in a big way.

I’m reminded of a quote by Eric Hoffer when he says, “In times of change, the learners will inherit the earth while the learned find themselves beautifully equipped to deal with a world that no longer exists!” What he’s saying is that adaptability is essential in times like these. If you continued to resist the current trends, you and your chiropractic practice will become a broke dinosaur.

Fast forward now to the Web 2.0 phenomenon that is sweeping the globe at the present time. Whenever you hear the term Web 2.0, it simply refers to social media and sharing sites like Myspace, YouTube, Facebook, Squidoo, Digg, and truckloads of others. Web 2.0 has literally transformed the way people think and communicate online in the past three years. A global shift in attracting massive amounts of new business and patients has occurred as well.

For the last several years, I’ve been getting 10-20 new patients / month and have created multiple sources of income through the successful utilization of these networks while the rest of the profession was stuck in the “stone-age.” I consider myself a proven innovator so I decided to consult other chiropractors on how to realize the life of prosperity they’ve always imagined by harnessing the power of social media. With the new marketing strategies and tactics I revealed, I single-handedly reshaped the chiropractic models of acquiring new patients overnight. Not only that, I’ve been showing the same doctors how to create residual income by leveraging the web in ways they could’ve never imagined.

There are guys out there who call themselves “Gurus” and try to sell their outdated marketing tactics for a high price, and young innocents fall for their deceit and receive absolutely no results. I, personally, can’t stand to see young and experienced business people throw their honest time and money down the toilet on these useless “gurus”, and that has only inspired me further to share what truly does work. If you’re not using social media, plain and simple, you aren’t up-to-date with the times.

I make no qualms about it, I am the first and only Web 2.0 chiropractic marketing expert, and my expertise has already changed the lives of thousands of young professionals. These professionals have experienced first-hand the great life transformation that takes place when your time and finances grow and are free to be used at your disposal. Isn’t it time to take time for your life, and achieve your financial dreams? I have had the great honor of being their mentor on this journey to making more with less effort. Stop working 40 hours a week, and say hello to your newer, richer life.

Here’s a trick that you can take advantage of to start getting more attention to your business today. When branding yourself on a Web 2.0 site, tell your personal story in about 6 paragraphs at least. Share the journey of your life and your business, and don’t make it too much of a sales pitch. When people can see and get involved emotionally in your story, they’re more likely to feel like they know you and want to give you their business. Why do you want to help people? What gives your business the human touch?

Make sure you have 3 blogs already going before you start your profile, so people have an automatic reference point. You’re sure to find these little tips helpful, and there are plenty more where that came from that I’d love to share with you. My 30 video training series is going to get you on the fast track to marketing success on Web 2.0. Soon enough you’ll be pulling-in multiple income streams with total ease. And this is all just the beginning!

Web Video Ad Formats and Methods - An Overview

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

As we all have been reading, online video consumption growth rates have soared over the past year especially due to broadband growth and penetration. As a result, video sharing and video search website have realize a much stronger traffic scenario whereby advertisers and marketers are spending and are poised to spend just short of $1billion in online video advertising this year.

Because of the keen interest of the advertisers towards the online video segment, many video sharing sites have been encouraged to come up with different formats for the placement of video advertisements. The quantum of investment in this segment has fueled innovation of the methods in which video sites are deploying online video monetization and advertising programs. In-stream (pre-roll, mid-roll, post-roll) advertisement formats have been in existence longest and have produced a good share of revenue for online video content producers.

Pre-Roll Ads - In this format of advertising, the advertisement clip is inserted before the actual video and while playing the video, the advertisement clip is played first and the viewer is compelled to watch the advertisement before the start of the real video file.

Post-roll Format - In post-roll, just like the other in-stream ad formats, a short clip is played and streamed within the player at the end of the video stream itself. This is not as desired by advertisers as they know that many users never watch a video all the way until the end.

Mid-Roll Video Ads: Again, like the other in-stream ads, mid-roll streams a short video clip within the video player itself, only with mid-stream, the ad gets played in the middle of the video almost like a normal TV commercial. This seems to be somewhat less offensive to users.

Many of the video platforms have experimented with various differnent online video formats. One of these is in-player ads: In-player ads sometimes include relevant text or image advertisements in the space available in video player between the outer margin of the video and the inner margin of the video player.

One of the most promising video advertisement formats is contextual advertising which attempts to match advertisements with the most relevant content and visa-versa. This ad itself can take of various different forms, in-video banners, lower-thirds, and contextual text overlay advertisements. The nice thing about this particular method is that it does not disturb the viewing of the video and it responds only when the viewer clicks on it.

Of all the various experiments with contextual video advertising, one format has taken off and has even become the standard video advertising format that YouTube and many other sites have adopted instead of pre-roll ads. This format is known as the Overlay ad and it is basically a contextually relevant text ad that is shown in a portion of the player and does not annoy users as much as in-stream advertising.

Although there are a few other formats that are being tested and utilized, the formats that I covered are the most commonly used formats at the moment. That being said, with the attention on this sector as it is, we will likely continue to see rapid innovation and will keep our eye out for the next best online video ad format.

Better Print Advertising

Thursday, September 25th, 2008

1. Headline: 5 times more people read the headline than will read body copy. If the reader likes the Headline they will read the rest of the ad. The Headline is what sparks their curiosity. It should be simple and clearly why the product interests the Reader.

2. News and headlines: Consumers read news stand magazines or news papers to get news. Real news or innovations can be placed in the headline, consumers may even find it a service. They very well could increase readership.

3. Localize headlines: In local advertising, sometimes it pays to include the name of the city in your headline.

4. Talk to Your Prospects: When a specific group consumes your product; Speak to them in your headline - Travelers, Brides, business owners?

5. Buyers Will Read Long Copy: Readership falls off rapidly up to 50 words, but drops very little between 50 and 500 words. Potential buyers will read longer into an ad. Peak their interest with the headline, and then sell them in the copy.

6. Before and AfterAds: Before and after ads are above average in grabbing the readers attention. Contrast seems to work well. If then seems to be well understood by the consumer.

7. Photographs vs. drawings: Photographs work better than Art almost all the time. People like to feel thins are “real.” The photograph should help pull readers in. Plus it must be pertinent to the product you are selling. The photograph must have story appeal.

8. Captions: Twice as many people read the captions under photographs as read the body copies. Never place a photo without a caption. Because Associated Press Style calls for captions under photos people expect it.

9. Editorial layout vs. Art Layout The more an advertisement looks like the editorial in the magazine the higher the readership on most occasions. The art layout is much easier to get by the President of the company you are representing. A good agency will take the time to convince the CEO that he knows much more about their product that the consumer.

10. Test and Retest Readership has been known to increase with repetition. Continually test new ads against the old ones and run the winner.

Benefits Of Bulk Email Marketing You Never Knew About

Monday, August 25th, 2008
by Ray Lam

You can purchase an email database that specializes in bulk email Internet marketing, or you can create your own list by allowing your web site visitors to opt in for a newsletter, eCourse or specials and updates.

For starters, to grasp the benefits of bulk email marketing one has to realize that it has many similarities to a TV commercial aired during prime time. Many viewers ordinarily turn the sounds of their Televisions low during commercial breaks. Others turn it off completely while still others leave the room. But because of the huge audience reached many a TV commercial ends up generating lots of sales and profits. One can easily enjoy the same benefits of TV commercials from their bulk email marketing.

If you are a marketing savvy guru, then you may feel comfortable writing your own email campaign. Email content in a bulk email internet marketing campaign is concise, to the point and easy to read. Content that is too lengthy runs the risk of losing the interest of your audience.

It is a good point to address the recipient by first name. And finally, the subject line should be short and to the point. Complaints about unsolicited emails from a large number of Internet users may result in blocking your account by the Internet service provider (ISP).

Since spammers do exist, there must be a market in spamming. If you believe this method will work for you, and that there are enough people out there not using spam blockers, then go ahead and try the unsolicited bulk email route. The response rate will be very, very slim, but it might be enough.

Email Marketing Campaign For Maximum Effect

Friday, August 15th, 2008
by Ray Lam

An email campaign one of the most effective ways of reaching potential customers, and if you know how to structure your email campaign properly to maximum effect it can be one of the best types of online marketing for your business.

With you email marketing campaign, be sure that all aspects of your business are in sync with your email campaign. In other words, is customer service ready to field questions? Do sales have the inventory to meet your customer?s needs? There?s no point in sending out an email extolling the virtues of a new product if people can?t order it or answer questions. Just be sure that all systems are a-go before you send out that email. Otherwise, your attempts at furthering a reputation of being a reliable and sophisticated business will instantly be thwarted.

What this has meant is that the seller has the perfect chance to build up a relationship with the prospect. This in turn will open up many other chances in future for making sales. This works out much best and much more effectively as an email marketing campaign than the one-off hit or miss effort.

It is better by far to build your own opt-in list, and if you do not yet have one that should be your first step. It will take time, but is necessary for your success, so put your email campaign on the back burner for now and get that list started.

Always make sure to look for incoming messages from subscribers. Doing so will make sure that you are not bothering anyone who does not wish to receive the emails any more and also give you an opportunity to read any feedback that your customers may have.

Email Marketing Solutions

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008
by Ray Lam

Since the evolution of email marketing, it has been a troublesome task for advertisers who relied primarily on the Internet for the promotion of their business to determine who their potential customers are, to keep in constant touch with them and to maintain their customer lists. To help these businesses, many firms began offering various solutions to make this process more effective, productive and profitable.

Email marketing solutions are an essential element of these online communication solutions. They are mainly intended for the management of their clients? massive lists of customers. Email marketing solutions are a good way to stay in communication with a lot of people; since the messages can be sent out all at one time, reaching the targeted consumer very quickly, the user?s workload and time consumption are lessened considerably. These solutions involve gathering lists of opt-in email addresses, regularly updating the lists and sending out the email campaigns. With user-friendly email marketing solutions, the customer is at liberty to split the email, merge it, delete invalid email addresses and customize their emails any way they like. Auto retry and customer tracking are additional features of email marketing solutions that provided added benefits to the customer.

Some email marketing solutions aid in building a list of prospective customers. Rather than waiting for prospects to search and find the products or solutions themselves, they can be revealed when the provider wishes. At various points, the customer may be prompted to click on the links given, or to enter specific data regarding their field of interest. By doing this, the prospects opt-in to the list. The marketers will then be updated regarding click-through and open rates.

At the onset of Internet communication, few restrictions were imposed on email marketing, giving spam an opportunity to grow. But now, with regulated and customer-friendly email marketing, the customer is provided with an option to sign out, at their will, just by clicking on a supplied link.

Targeted email marketing campaigns are a means of advertising that focuses on opt-in prospects. Naturally, giving more attention to interested customers evokes a more positive response than the same from a randomly delivered campaign. Thus, email marketing solution providers are extending their services by providing their clients with the opt-in email list.

With targeted email campaigns, email addresses collected from websites and mail servers are used for advertising purposes. The providers assist in each and every step, including the creation of newsletters. The list of email addresses, which come under a particular field of interest, is identified and utilized for the campaign. As an added benefit to their customers, the email solution providers will manage and update the list. The providers take extreme care to ensure the email reaches the selected customers without fail. At the same time, the businesses are able to track their customers’ actions. In this way, very quickly and efficiently, the email is delivered to prospects that have opted to receive it.

Global Resorts Network vs Carbon Copy Pro, Passport to Wealth

Global Resorts Network vs EDC Gold, Passport to Wealth, Carbon Copy Pro

I have now been a GRN rep for a year and a half. In my first year I earned well over 6 figures and continue to make 30k a month online. This company has changed my life. I used to promote companies like EDC Gold, Passport to Wealth, Carbon Copy Pro, and programs that did not have real products.

Sure they claimed they had a product and they gave you access to a collection of outdated software and e-books that can be had anywhere on the internet for free. In fact 80% of these companies all use the exact same collection.

The reason most people don’t have a problem with this is because plain and simple the sales are being made to people who are only looking at the company as a way to make money and not on a product level.

What most people don’t realize if you product stinks you are reducing your market. You can only market to business builders. There are a lot of people looking to build a business but there are tons of people looking to sell there business as well. So why not sell something with a real product, which appeals to the masses.

This and many other reasons is why I left EDC Gold and moved to Global Resorts Network. I have never looked back and have been very successful and I feel good about the product I am promoting.

I have sold tons of memberships to people on a product only level. In all my time with EDC I never found one person that was excited to buy $1,000 worth of crappy software. With GRN our members save thousands on every vacation they take for the rest of their lives. So just using the product will allow a person to recoup their investment in just a couple of trips.

I have sold memberships to people who own $20k and $30k timeshares, that are amazed at what our members have access to for the measly $3k. Most are trying to sell their timeshares and are finding they aren’t worth the paper the deed is printed on.

The bottom line is EDC Gold, Passport to Wealth, Carbon Copy Pro, ETC just don’t have the extreme vale that Global Resorts Network has. Nor do they have as large of a market.

I personally and many other have said GRN is the best business opportunity out, there is no equal or comparable product and comp plan out there.
